LASER SCAR REDUCTION

For many who have undergone surgery, suffered injury, suffered severe acne or have a physical deformity, scarring can leave behind painful and undesirable reminders. Different techniques are utilized. It’s our mission to provide innovative and effective scar treatments to patients.

INSIDE LASER CAR TREATMENT

Laser scar treatment uses an intense but gentle beam of light to treat scars without damaging surrounding tissue. The treatment blends pigmentation with that of surrounding healthy tissue and stimulates collagen production, allowing your body to create new, smoother skin. After the treatment, scars appear lighter and less noticeable.

Laser treatment doesn't remove scars completely. It typically takes multiple treatments to see desired results.

TYPES OF SCARS

Scars come in various shapes and sizes, but will fall into one of the following categories.

Cicatrix: Flat scar
Hypertrophic: Raised scar
Atrophic: Depressed scar below the skin’s surface that appears sunken or pitted; often from chicken pox or acne.
Keloid: Raised scar that grows much larger than the original wound.
Contracture:
Scar tissue caused by burns that tend to be tighter and thicker than your surrounding skin.
Striae: Stretch marks are a type of scar caused by breaks in connective tissue from rapid skin growth or shrinkage.
